Get to know Family Nurse Practitioner, Mary Anne Walker, who serves patients in the State of Maryland.

Specializing in long-term care, mental health nursing, and consulting, Mary Anne is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who has been in practice since 1977. She is affiliated with MedOptions in the State of Maryland. MedOptions partners with skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across the nation to provide expert behavioral health services, improving the overall mental health in elderly patients through the use of memory care evaluations, medication management, and behavioral intervention. The multidisciplinary team consists of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, clinical psychologists, and clinical social workers. They are experienced in dementia care and Alzheimer’s care, long-term behavioral health care in elderly populations, as well as memory care services.  A firm believer that her love for her profession is key to her success, Mary Anne’s focus has always been on caring for people. Ever since she was 6 years old, she knew that she wanted to become a nurse.
